My original theories and theory remixes, kept separate from sourced leaks so the receipts stay clean.
Three of these are theories I was already pushing. The rest are my own remixes built from current fan speculation, comic structure and the leak trail. I keep the inspiration links attached so nobody confuses a remix with an original scoop.
My biggest theory: announcing RDJ as Doom is the perfect smokescreen. Marvel can bring RDJ back as Tony Stark in Secret Wars without every trade instantly exposing the surprise, because everyone already expects RDJ to be on set.
I think Doomsday ends as a loss. The surviving pieces of reality get forced together and the final reveal is not a repaired multiverse — it is Doom's new world. Secret Wars starts after the nightmare has already won.
Even if Marvel heavily remixes Hickman, I still think the movie is built around realities colliding, heroes choosing their own Earth, and Doom being the only person willing to make the horrible decision nobody else will.
My version: the emotional equivalent of Endgame's portals scene happens when multiple teams finally meet — except nobody is united. The Avengers and legacy X-Men are trying to save different universes, so the crossover everybody wanted begins as a war.
I don't think Doomsday needs Doom to be lying about everything. He may genuinely understand that the multiverse is dying before the heroes do. The twist is that his solution works: sacrifice worlds, take control, build one survivable reality, and make himself its god.
My version of the Loki theory: Doom does not just want to beat Loki. He needs access to whatever Loki is doing at the end of time — either to redirect dying timelines, steal that power, or use Loki as the map that tells him which realities can still be saved.
My version: Doom can understand the Incursions and still lack the raw ability to rebuild reality. Franklin is the missing piece. Doom either steals, borrows or manipulates Franklin's reality-warping power to turn collapsing universes into Battleworld.
I think Marvel can have it both ways. Victor can genuinely be Victor, but his face still destroys the Avengers emotionally. Doom walking into a room looking like the man who saved their universe gives him an instant psychological advantage over people like Thor and Peter.
My prediction: Marvel does not save the transformation for halfway through Secret Wars. Doomsday ends with Doom having “saved” existence, the survivors waking up in a new reality, and one final pullback revealing who owns it.
